The Assemblyman said the guard rails and walkways on the portion have been totally removed leaving the bridge hanging.

Mr. Kufordji in an interview with Ghanadistricts.com expressed dissatisfaction over the Assembly’s failure to have the bridge restored until an unforeseen disaster occurs adding that the community is in fear that the situation could be worsened as the rains set in if nothing is done to fix the bridge.
He then called on stakeholders and the central government to construct a single line bridge where vehicles can pass through.

”This bridge is the only bridge connecting my electoral area to another electoral area with thousands of users such as business women and men, students, children and also serves as a means for transporting pregnant women, the sick.

Myself and the community will be very happy if the government or any organization can help in reconstructing a single line bridge” he said.
