Gomoa West accounts to citizens
The Central Regional Minister, Kwamena Dunkan has allayed fears of residents in the region over the deplorable road networks which resulted in some demonstrations in recent times.

The Minister said but for the continuous rainfall, work would have been going on earnestly on such roads since contractors are already on site.
The Regional Minister who was speaking at the Meet the Press series organized by the Gomoa West District Assembly also promised the people that he will inform the president on the issue concerning the premix fuel which is not coming regularly when a question was asked about it.
The District Chief Executive for Gomoa West, Bismark Nkum highlighting on the achievements of the government in the district since 2017, and the impact it has had on the people revealed that a number of works have been done in the various sectors of the economy, including the completion of projects inherited from the previous administration.
Mr Nkum said his administration has been able to install solar energy at Gomoa Eshien Health Center, build a CHPS compound at Apam, provide 10 communities (Gomoa Brofo, Gomoa Asempayin, Gomoa Ngyiresi, Gomoa Ohua, Gomoa Adaa, Gomoa Sampa, Gomoa Kyiren, Gomoa Manso No.2, Gomoa Bebiano, and Gomoa Ejumako Ansah) with pipe-borne water with office, overhead thank, boaster station.
Additionally, five settlements; Gomoa Brofo, Gomoa Asempanyim, Gomoa Ajumako Ansah, Gomoa Bebiano, Gomoa Enyeme have also benefited from mechanized solar community water system.
SANITATION
The DCE disclosed that The Poverty Eradication Programme (IPEP) is also providing 10 institutional 10-seater water closet toilet facilities in Apam, Gomoa Dago, Gomoa Ngyiresi, Gomoa Mozano/ Gomoa Eshiem, Gomoa Dawurampong.
Others include 10-seater KVIP at Gomoa Adaa, 12-seater WC at Mumford.
The Assembly has also acquired land for landfill site for potential waste-to-energy.
Under 1d1f, he mentioned an agro-processing factory, CASA DE ROPA which is established at Gomoa Bewadze and are into the processing of bread, chips, and pastries for the local markets.
The Member of Parliament for the area who doubles as the deputy health minister, Alexander Abban also promised the people that, he will do anything within his powers to lift the district high.
The chief of Gomoa Akyempim Traditional Council, Nana Ankobea Ahunako Ahor, who graced the occasion advised the community and asked them to support the president in his vision.
