ATWIMA KWANWOMA: Bedu Community to get 3-unit classroom blk
The Atwima Kwanwoma District Chief Executive (DCE), Nana Okyere Tawiah Antwi, has cut sod for the construction of a three unit classroom block and a library for Bebu D/A Junior High School.

The project with estimated cost of Three hundred thousand Ghana Cedis (GHS300,000) is funded by the District Development Fund (DDF) and it is expected to be completed within three months.
The project, when completed will include headmaster’s office, staff common room, a fully furnished library and an ultramodern ICT centre.
Performing the official sod cutting ceremony, the DCE noted that the construction of the classroom block has become necessary as a result of the congestion in the school.
He indicated that there are a lot of challenges affecting the youth and appealed to stakeholders to join the nationwide fight against drug abuse to save the lives of the country’s present generation of youth to help them become responsible in future.
He said that the generation of youth who are indulging in drug and substance abuse is a lost future to the country as there would be no leaders for tomorrow .He entreated the youth to stay away from drug and substance abuse because it very dangerous and can destroy their brains as well as their future.
Nana Boakye Yiadom the chief of Bedu expressed his appreciation to the DCE and government for the project and pledged to support the contractor to complete the project on time.
