You are the test to free SHS policy – DCE reminds students
Nana Okyere Tawiah-Antwi, District Chief Executive of Atwima Kwanwoma District has called on the Afia Kobi Ampem Senior High School students to study hard in order to maintain the free senior high school policy.

He said they are the test to the success or otherwise of the policy brought by the Nana Addo Akuffo-Addo led administration since they are the first batch to be tested in the West African Secondary School Certificate Examination since the implementation of the policy.
He made this call during a program organized by the National Union of Ghana Students (NUGS) at Afia Kobi Ampeh Senior High School, Traboum, on Saturday 23rd November 2019.
Nana Antwi took the opportunity to highlight some progressive and transformational interventions initiated by the government led by His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo policy which include planting for food and jobs which according to him have supported and still supporting many farmers, the introduction of Free SHS policy, the nation Builders Corp which is helping the youth to be employed, school feeding program and capitation grant and Free Compulsory Basic Education(FCUBE) and free registration for BECE pupils.
Speaking on the theme: “Learning today Leading tomorrow: Education is not a Privilege but a Right”, Nana Antwi advised the students to grab every opportunity that comes their way in order to stand the test of time.
Nana Okyere Tawiah-Antwi urged the students to take their education very serious since it is the surest way of realizing their aims and objectives as well as their ambition.
He also stressed that; they should do their best to develop themselves whilst in school and even after school, adding that self-development could also enhance their chances of securing jobs as well as a career in politics.
He further encouraged them to inculcate good morals whilst in school and after school. He advised them to be a good listener and ask questions when necessary. He told them to avoid any utterance that could be problematic.
