Mampong: Lack of accessible ramps for PWDs
Francis Boateng Sarpong, government appointee for Mampong municipality has expressed displeasure over the lack of accessible ramps for Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) in the municipality.

He applauded the government for providing schools, road infrastructure, bridge, electrical pole, solar system, markets among others for the people in the municipality.
He however, asked the government to do more by providing accessible ramps in public institutions for the PWDs.
He also stated the need for sign language interpreters in public places, in order to help in the communication process between a person with disability and an officer.
This he said will go a long way to help ease their struggle in accessing public buildings.
