Assembly Member appeals to Government to fix broken bridges

Mr. Ekuoba Gyasi the Assembly member for Akyeremade Electoral Area in the Mampong Municipality has appealed to the government to as a matter of urgency to fix two damaged bridges between new town and akyeremade and another at the main market to allow free flow of movement of people and goods in the community.

The assembly member, who made the appeal through Ghanadistricts.com, indicated that School children struggle to go to school.

He stressed that the broken bridge has brought huge discomfort to the people in the town and the adjoining communities and it has also become a nightmare for market women and other traders in the area to transport their goods to the market.

Mr. Gyasi again mentioned that, a Lake in the area called Tadie also needs urgent attention for it not to dry off. He noted that the situation is as result of excessive dirt but all effort to the District Assembly’s attention has proven futile.

He outlined some of his achievement as an Assembly member adding that he has been able to install streetlights to curb insecurity within the community and hope to do more.
