New Juaben North Assembly presents PPEs to schools

The New Juaben North Municipal Assembly has presented about 2000 hand sanitizers and nose masks to the municipal education directorate for onward distribution to various schools in the Municipalities.

The Assembly also presented 45 chairs, 15 tables, 5 set of computers and 5 printers to assist teaching and learning.

Presenting the items on behalf of the Assembly, Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) Comfort Asante described the presentation as very timely considering the recent increasing figures from the third wave of the Covid 19 pandemic

According to her, the gesture will help protect our students and pupils in schools in the Municipalities to stop the spread of the diseases.

The Municipal Deputy Director of Education, Mr. Samuel Tettey thanked the Assembly for the donations on behalf of the Education Directorate and promised that they would distribute to all the schools and make sure it will be used for the intended purposes.

Presents were the Municipal Coordinating Director, Mr. Alhaji Tijani , Deputy Director Ghartey Victoria and teachers of the representatives schools.

Meanwhile, the MCE also presented office equipment’s such as tables, chairs, computers and printers to the five Zonal Councils in the Municipality.

Assistance Director, Miss Anita Dzifa Akligo received the Zonal council items on behalf of the Council Members in the five offices established by the Assembly.
