CEO of Raycof Group of Companies Receives Prestigious Doctorate in Humane Letters

"Elder Dr. Nana Kwofie Ramus, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Raycof Group of Companies, has been conferred with an Honorary Doctorate Degree in Humane Letters (D.H.L, Honoris Causa) by Elohim Theological College and Seminary in Accra.

The prestigious award, presented on August 15, 2025, in Sefwi Wiawso, recognizes Dr. Ramus's outstanding contributions to humanity, philanthropy, and community development in the Western North Region and Ghana.

The seminary cited his exceptional humanitarian service, impactful research on social development, and dedication to the church, education, and society, describing him as "a man of integrity, vision, and compassion who has consistently demonstrated excellence in leadership and service."

Dr. Ramus has championed numerous projects, including constructing worship centers, funding educational initiatives, and improving healthcare infrastructure.

Notably, he financed a kindergarten block with an office and playground at Sefwi Nsawora in the Akontombra District, supported Sefwi Wiawso Senior Technical School with a hostel that was named in his honor, and built an ultra-modern accident and emergency unit at the Sefwi Wiawso Government Hospital.

He also donated cement for the construction of a children's ward at Tarkwa Government Hospital.

Currently, he is leading the construction of a Police Divisional Command Office Complex in Sefwi Wiawso to enhance security.

The Elohim Theological College & Seminary board, an affiliate of the Apostolic University, USA, praised Dr. Ramus as a mentor, life coach, philanthropist, and humanitarian. The conferment ceremony was led by Archbishop Prof. Dr. Kwame Aburam Anoff Sr., who commended Dr. Ramus for his commitment to societal progress.

In his acceptance speech, Dr. Ramus expressed gratitude to God, his family, and supporters, pledging to expand his philanthropic efforts. "This honor is not just for me, but for the people and communities I serve. It challenges me to do more for humanity and to remain committed to building a better future," he stated.
