Njnma holds general assembly meeting

The New Juaben North Municipal Assembly held its second ordinary meeting of the fourth session at the Assembly Hall.

Present at the meeting were, the Municipal Chief Executive, Municipal Coordinating Director, Chiefs, Presiding Member, Assembly Men and Women and Heads of Department of the New Juaben North Municipal Assembly.

In the welcome address, Hon. Presiding Member for New Juaben North Municipal Assembly, Dr. Edward Asante Antwi, called on all to come out with ideas that would accelerate the development of the Assembly and municipality.

The Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Comfort Asante, addressed the session meeting of the Assembly on finance, and said the Assembly has been progressively increasing its revenue and said with certitude that, contrary to the information passed on about GRA taking charge of property rate collection, the assembly’s revenue collection team will continue to take charge of the task.

Madam Comfort Asante, in her address on health said, the construction of the Regional hospital and the Municipal Poly clinic under agenda 111 by the government is on-going.
