President commissions Bekwai NHIS office complex

The President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo has commissioned an ultra-modern office complex for the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA) at Bekwai in the Ashanti Region.

The new office comes with offices for staff, a conference hall, and waiting room for clients, kitchen and a store room and would also provide a serene working environment for both staff and clients.

The commissioning forms part of the President’s four (4) days working visit to the Ashanti Region to inspect some ongoing projects, cut sod for other projects to begin and also commission others in parts of the region.

The Omanhene of Bekwai Traditional Council, Nana Osei Ababio and his Chiefs thanked the President and the Member of Parliament Mr. Joseph Osei–Wusu for the numerous ongoing projects in the municipality especially the completion of the Bekwai Hospital and on-going construction of Bekwai town roads.

Nana Osei Ababio however appealed to the President to help speed up the completion of several other on-going projects especially roads in the municipality.

On his part, President said he is grateful to the chief for his advice and encouragement and assured him that his government would promote the development of the Bekwai municipality and the region as a whole.

He also thanked the chiefs and people of Bekwai for their massive support during the 2020 elections.
