Nana Okyere Kusi Ntrama pays courtesy call MCE to strengthen development in Essumeja

The Paramount Chief of the Essumeja Traditional Area, Nana Okyere Kusi Ntrama, has paid a courtesy call on the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of Bekwai, Salifu Issaka at his office to discuss avenues for deepening collaboration and accelerating development in the Essumeja area.

Nana Ntrama was warmly received by the MCE, the Municipal Coordinating Director (MCD), Ms. Sheila Rosetta Arthur, and other staff of the Bekwai Municipal Assembly.

The visit formed part of efforts to foster strong ties between traditional leadership and the municipal authorities in the pursuit of shared development goals.

In a closed-door meeting, the two parties deliberated on key issues affecting the Essumeja community, including infrastructure, education, health, and local economic development.

Nana Ntrama emphasized the role of unity and cooperation in driving progress, and expressed his willingness to work hand-in-hand with the Assembly to address the needs of his people.

Hon. Salifu Issaka, on his part, welcomed the Chief’s visit and pledged the Assembly’s readiness to collaborate with traditional leaders for inclusive development. He acknowledged the importance of traditional authority in mobilizing community support for government initiatives.

The engagement was described by both parties as fruitful and a positive step toward building a stronger partnership for the advancement of Essumeja and the Bekwai Municipality at large.
