The interventions, according to the MP, are aimed at responding to pressing needs identified by communities and supporting local initiatives that contribute to improved living conditions and development.

Education Support

As part of his commitment to education, Hon. Poku-Adusei donated roofing sheets to the Behenase Cluster of Schools to support efforts to improve the learning environment.

He also provided GH¢18,000 to six needy tertiary students, with each beneficiary receiving financial assistance to help meet educational expenses.

In Bekwai, the MP funded the renovation of the Roman Catholic Kindergarten, while plastic chairs were supplied to the Kindergarten section of Kwamang/Abesewa M/A Basic School.

The interventions are expected to help improve teaching and learning conditions and provide support to students and educational institutions facing infrastructure and financial challenges.

Hon. Poku-Adusei has also supported efforts to improve rural road networks within the constituency, particularly during the rainy season when many roads become difficult to use.

He released funds to provide gravel, machinery and fuel for the rehabilitation of motorable rural roads across affected communities.

In addition, a market shed has been constructed at Sarfokrom, providing traders with improved space for commercial activities.

The MP has also supported the advancement of teacher quarters at Amanhyia, an intervention expected to improve accommodation conditions for teachers serving in the community.

Hon. Poku-Adusei facilitated the installation of streetlights at Amoaful and other communities within the constituency.

The initiative is intended to make public spaces safer, improve movement at night and help address concerns about darkness in communities.

The MP has further provided material and financial assistance to communities undertaking self-driven development projects.

Hundreds of bags of cement, alongside cash donations, have been provided to support local initiatives in communities including Bogyawe, Abesewa, Ahwiren, Kensere and Pampaso.

The support is intended to complement community efforts and enable residents to undertake projects based on their most immediate development needs.

Hon. Poku-Adusei’s interventions form part of his broader commitment to promoting grassroots development, education, infrastructure and community empowerment across the Bekwai Constituency.

The MP has emphasized the importance of working with communities and supporting locally driven initiatives to ensure that development reaches residents at the grassroots level.
