The May Day celebration brings together all workers and stakeholders to take stock of their activities and contributions to productivity and national development.

It also affords employers and employees to share experiences, make demands for better working conditions and interventions for a better working environment.

The hosting right was disclosed in a press release signed by the Chief Director of the Ahafo Regional Coordinating Director, Mr. Ebenezer Amoah.

According to him, the hosting right will afford the region and participant's the opportunity to engage in strategic dialogue with key stakeholders, aimed at providing a unique platform for exchanging ideas and insights, and identifying practical, coordinated and decisive workplace recommendations for efficient productivity.

This year’s programme will be held at the Nana Bosomprah Park in Goaso.

The Chief Director noted Ahafo strongly believes in partnerships as well as sharing in the strengths and insights of other communities and therefore encouraged participants to feel at home and contribute to the nation's development.
