Deputy Minister urges MMDCEs to team up with chiefs for development

The Deputy Minister for Local Government and Rural Development, Augustine Collins Ntim has pleaded with the various DCEs and MCEs in the country to try as much as possible to join hands with Nananom in the country to help bring the vision of the government into reality.

The minister who doubles as the MP for Offinso North Constituency disclosed this during the launch of Mmoaninko Festival and Silver Jubilee Celebration of the Enstoolment of Nana Wiafe Akenten III as Offinsomanhene.

The launch was on the theme: “Mmoaninko celebrating 25 years of exemplary traditional leadership”.

The Offinsomanhene Nana Wiafe Akenten III through Nana Prof. Edusei Sefa Atweneboah – New Juaben Gyaasehene of Asokore used the occasion to outline the achievements of Nana Wiafe Akenten since his enstoolment on August 4, 1993 as Offinsomanhene.

The MCE of Offinso Municipal, Solomon Kesseh used the occasion to thank Nana Wiafe Akanten for being supportive in the development of the municipality and again asked for long life and good health from God for him.

Also present were Omanhene of Manso Nkwanta, Nana B. Kusi and Omanhene of Ejusu, Nana Afrane Okese.
