Nabco trainees undergo training for NDPAS project

The Nation Builders Corp (NABCO) Secretariat in the Prestea-Huni-Valley Municipality has held training for 40 trainees who are going to undertake the National Digital Property Addressing System (NDPAS) Project.

The NDPAS will help tag all immovable properties with an address plate which bears the name of the street, the property number and the Ghana post digital address.

Explaining the purpose of the training, the Municipal NABCO Coordinator, Emmanuel Fosu said, the training will go a long way in helping the trainees to know how to use the application and the hand-held devices.

According to him, the training will also help them to acquire a good communication skills so as to know how to communicate effectively on the field of work.



Mr. Fosu emphasized that, the NDPAS is going to help identifying a particular location easily and conveniently and also replace the old way of giving direction.

Advising the trainees, the Municipal Coordinating Director, Mr. Peter Essaim Asante told the trainees to pay effective attention to trainers and learn the procedures very well in order to achieve the objectives of the project.



He asked the trainees to comport themselves when they get to the field since they are the ambassadors for the municipality and the nation as a whole.

He emphasized that, the trainees should desist from any unlawful act that will demine the image of the Assembly and their personality. He however called on the trainees to cease from parading themselves as extraordinary individual who is above all people when they enter into a particular community.



Mr. Essaim Asante told the trainees to advise the people to embrace the digitized project since that was the only way we can compete with the western world, he added that, the digitized project will help to identify all properties being put to use in order to compact emergency crisis.
