MCE inspects ongoing projects
The Municipality Chief Executive for Prestea Huni-Valley Municipality Dr. Isaac Dasmani (PhD) has inspected some ongoing projects within the municipality.

The visitation was to allow him to check the ongoing projects in the municipality while creating avenues for the contractors to come to him with their challenges.
At Bayreagya, he inspected a 3-unit classroom block with a master’s office the project which was community assistance moving steadily was at the lentil stage.
He applauded the community for the good work done and assured them that the assembly will do its best to provide them with all the resources needed for the completion of the project.
He urged them to work hard to finish the roofing by the end of this year. He assured them that the second phase which will be made up of three additional classroom blocks will commence right after the completion of the first phase. He entreated other communities to embrace the community assistance initiative for the municipal assembly to undertake many projects in the needy communities at a lesser cost.
He further proceeded to inspect the ongoing one number Community-Based Health Planning and Services (CHPS compound) with nurse’s quarters. The project which was nearing completion was about 85% completed.
As part of his tour, the MCE inspected works on a 3unit classroom block with a storeroom at Bogoso Roman Catholic School.
Upon reaching there the project was moving steadily and was at the lentil level. He also inspected the second phase of an ICT lab at Bogoso MA School.
Addressing the media, Hon Isaac Dasmani (PhD) expressed excitement about the work done so far and applauded the building contractors. He however expresses his concerns on some changes which needed to be done on some projects for its success.
He touted that his vision for initiating these projects is to improve the education and health services within the municipality especially the villages.
Mr. Abdul Fatawu Issah, head of the Education Management Information System of the education directorate took the opportunity to thank the community members for how far the projects have come and encouraged them to expedite their action to complete the projects.
He added that being in raining season, the completion of the project on time will go a long way to help school children stay longer in school.
He was accompanied by the works department, Mr.George Scott (the municipal engineer), and Mr. Abdul Fatawu(Member of the education directorate)
