The team first visited the Binduri health centre, where they handed over an ultra-modern new maternity block to the District Director of Ghana Health Service.

This project started under the immediate past MP, Hon. Ben Noah and was funded from the MP's NHIS funds but the project came to halt when he lost the NDC parliamentary primaries in 2015 and his successor left it behind.

Currently the project has been financed and completed with the assembly's share of the District Performance Assessment Tool (DPAT).

Mr. Ayinga said the facility will bring relief to the health officials and the public as a whole by reducing overcrowding.

The team then moved to Atuba, where they handed over a renovated structure to the Bawku Divisional Police Commander, CSP Yaw Tettehga.

The police post comes with, a charge room, male and an office female cells, and a washroom.

The DCE said, this project will provide the opportunity for Atuba to have their own police personnel to enable them fight against the rampant increase of crime rate in Atuba and it surroundings. He added that, the structure was an Agric office but they have relocated the Agric officials to a different structure and now used this as a police post.

They also commissioned the merchanzed water system and handed over the renovated 12 seater Kvip toilet facility all in Atuba market which was sourced from COVID 19 fund.

Finally, the DCE, PC and the NPP Constituency Chairman moved to Tansia and Kaad-Kudugu, where they commissioned the electricity in the above mentioned communities.

It was all joy for the people. One old man said that, he was happy when he heard the news of commissioning the electricity and that the over 100 years of darkness is now a thing of the past.

The DCE assured the people of Kaad-Kudugu a construction of a pavilion which will serve as a weighing center for the children.
