The ultra-modern project is expected to be completed within six months.

The project, when duly completed, will help eliminate the situation whereby children had to travel for several miles to nearby communities in order to access quality basic education.

District Chief Executive (DCE) of the area, Mr Yakubu Ayinga Abagre, who recently handed over a site to the contractors for work to kick start said, he was delighted that the project is finally set to commence, and therefore challenged parents to send their children to school for a better future.

He also used the occasion to reassure the people of the government’s firm commitment to ensure that every Ghanaian child is guaranteed access to quality teaching and learning at all levels of education.

He touched on the Free Senior High School initiative as one of the government’s flagship programmes to make education accessible to all.

On his part, the chief of the area also expressed their profound gratitude to the DCE and any other person who played a role in visualizing this project.

In attendance were the DCE, District Education Director, Traditional leaders, Staff of the School, Assembly members and members of the community.
