FIGHTING COVID-19: Asutifi South NPP benefits from Ali Suraj donations

The New Patriotic Party's branch in the Asutifi South District of the Ahafo Region has as part of the fight against coronavirus benefited from a party-activist, Ali Suraj as he donated 3000 bottles of hand sanitizers to the party.

The presentation which took place at the Regional Secretariat of the New Patriotic Party at Goaso was received by the Party's Regional Youth Organizer Mr. Adu Boateng commended Mr. Suraj for his generous and timely intervention promising to utilize the items in it's best way and selected communities in the Asutifi South Constituency.

Mr. Ali Suraj has earlier presented some 300 sanitizers to the office of the NPP's Parliamentary Candidates for the Asutifi South Constituency Yaw Owusu Brempong as a way of supporting his office to fight the virus.

Mr. Suraj who hails from Acherensua, a suburb of the Asutifi South Constituency again distributed the sanitizers to residents of Acherensu and Nkasiem in the Asutifi South Constituency of the Ahafo region.

He explained in an interview with Ghanadistricts.com the move as part of his private initiative to providing materials to the less privileged to help control or obviate the global enemy COVID-19 which has claimed over 6000 lives globally including 5 Ghanaians.

He capitalized on the opportunity to educate members of the aforementioned communities the basic precautionary measures as shown by the WHO and Ghana health service.

Residents of the areas Acherensua and Nkasiem could not hide their joy upon receiving the sanitizers expressed their appreciation to Mr. Suraj for his angelic and kind gesture.

It could be recalled that Mr. Ali Suraj has earlier distributed over 9000 hand sanitizers and 2000 face masks to some selected Zongo Communities in the Greater Accra and Ashanti Regions.
