The move according to information gathered was aimed at bringing governance closure to the doorstep of the ordinary citizenry at the grassroots level.
In an interview with Ghanadistricts.com, the DCE, explained that the visit was to afford residents the opportunity to interact with the heads of departments, and also know where to channel their problems when necessary.

He called on unemployed youth to engage in various skills training to help them become self-dependent, adding that the emergence of businesses in the district would require the services of people who have skills in catering and other vocational skills.

He used the opportunity to explain the “Promote growth in Food production and to create Jobs in the country” to the community members, and called on them to take the opportunity to gain a livelihood.

According to him, revenue generation of the Assembly had massively declined, and thus appealed to the people to pay their required revenue for the Assembly to meet its developmental needs.

Also in attendance were District Coordinator Director and some department Heads of the assembly.
