COVID-19: Assembly commences water extension project

The District Chief Executive of Achiase, Richmond Amposah has disclosed, that in order of ensuring effective hand washing to prevent the spread of COVID -19, the assembly is undertaking water extension project to various communities in the district.

In addition, Kodawen and Enso Nyame Ye community boreholes have been completed, adding that the community water and sanitation department is also under taking similar other projects at Anyinam, Kotoku and Akenkansu to provide the people with potable water.

The DCE further revealed that, the assembly again has mounted check points at all various entry points of the district as part of measure s to check the spread of the virus.

Meanwhile, three separate community health planning services (CHPs) compounds have been completed at Nyankomase, Osorase and Duoko to help bring quality healthcare to the doorsteps of the people.
