Achiase DCE applauds security Agencies

The District Chief Executive for Achiase District Assembly Mr. Richmond Amponsah has commended the security agencies in the area for working tirelessly to ensure peace and cohesion among the citizenry.

According to the DCE, the security agencies have been swift and decisive in dealing with security issues that were recorded in the district.

Addressing Assembly members at the second ordinary meeting at the Assembly Hall, the DCE also commended some prominent individuals in the district who, he said, have contributed greatly to the development of the district by promoting peace and tranquility at Akim Anamaase and other communities.

He mentioned, Mr J A Biney, a philanthropist, has constructed and fully furnished an ultra-modern police post at Anamaase, a community in the area.

Mr Biney, according to the DCE, has further refurbished a Nissan Navara pick- up for the station.

He also commended Vice Admiral Seth Amoah, the Chief of Defence Staff, for donating a brand new Nissan pick-up to the Aprade police station to help with security in the area.

He therefore asked for collaboration between the police and the citizens to foster peace in the district.
