MP, MCE break grounds for commencement of ultra-modern ICT center

The Member of Parliament for Asante Akim South, Kweku Asante Boateng, and the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of the area, Alexander Frimpong have broken the grounds for the commencement of an ultra-modern Information Communication and Technology (ICT) centre at Gyadem.

Mr. Boateng at the ceremony noted that the world has become a global village through technology and therefore required knowledge-driven human beings who are technologically inclined to take the mantle of all sectors of the Country and advised school children to take ICT seriously.

He then urged people of the town to treasure the project because it would serve as a good legacy for posterity.

Mr. Alexander Frimpong also indicated that the initiative will bring relief in the area and grant school children a better chance at excelling academically adding that the project is dear to their hearts and they are determined to ensure that the people and students in the area become computer literate.
