DCE appeals to Ghanaians to send their grievances to government

Mr. Kwadwo Adjei-Dwomoh, Nkoranza North District Chief Executive (DCE), has appealed to Ghanaians to send their grievances to government for consideration to promote good governance.

He said the National Democratic Congress would continue to "open up to the people and respect their views and suggestions", to  enhance participatory democracy.

Mr. Adjei-Dwomoh was addressing the people of Dromankuma in the district at the weekend after presenting plastic bowls, cups and second hand clothing to victims of a recent fire outbreak.

He said that government would initiate sound programmes and polices to improve the people's standards of living.

Mr. Adjei-Dwomoh said the assembly has planned to rehabilitate feeder roads in the district to facilitate the transportation of farm produce and other economic activities.

He said that about 300 youth in the area would be engaged in the National Afforestation Programme.

Mr. Benjamin Adu-Darko, Presiding Member of the Assembly, appealed to parents to enrol their children in school and prevent them from engaging in pre-marital sex, prostitution, drug abuse, armed robbery, hooliganism and alcoholism.

He appealed to the youth to learn hard so that they could acquire knowledge and skills needed for national development.
