DCE appeals to the youth to unite
Mr. Kwadwo Adjei-Dwomoh, Nkoranza North District Chief Executive, has advised the youth to erase bitter moments before and after the 2008 general election and help to initiate development programmes in their communities.

He said there was no need for the youth of political parties to revisit any bitter events during the electioneering campaigns.
Addressing the chiefs and people of Fiema as part of a tour of communities in the district, Mr. Adjei-Dwomoh urged the youth to collaborate with community leaders to execute development programmes to attract support from government and NGOs.
The government of the National Democratic Congress would not draw lines among the people and will give equal attention to the whole citizenry\", he said.
Mr. Benjamin Adu Darko, assembly member for Boabeng-Fiema, said an information communication technology project started in the guest house of the monkey sanctuary by the New Patriotic Party government \"has come to a stand still\" and urged the DCE to ensure its completion.
Mr. Darko, who is also the presiding member of Nkoranza North District Assembly, called on the assembly to provide water, health and sanitation facilities at Boabeng and Fiema in view of the large number of tourists to the monkey sanctuary.
He spoke about the increasing population of the local Anglican Primary School and urged the assembly to help construct an additional six-classroom block.
Nana Sarfo Kantanka, chief of the area, and nana Amponsah Boateng, the fetish priest in charge of Abudwo shrine (spirit god of the monkeys), called on the government to make good its promises to maintain the people\'s confidence and trust.
