He said such practices may possibly end up jeopardizing their education and dreams of becoming good future leaders of the country. He thus, urged them to focus on their study as that was their only best bet of getting good grades for themselves.
Mr. Quattara gave the advice when interacting with some BECE candidates during a surprise visit to some examination centers in the area. The MCE in his discussions pledged the assembly’s desire to support candidates who excel in the ongoing exams.
Mr. Quattara also assured candidates of impending free Senior High School (SHS) education which commences in September and thus urged them to work extra harder to have an opportunity to benefit from the national cake.
On his part, a Supervisor at one of the Centres, Mr. Sylvester Opoku, said 194 candidates have been registered in that center but three of them were absent.
Notwithstanding their non-attendance, everything he added was going on smoothly. Meanwhile, a total of 1,751 candidates are writing the examination in the Municipality.
