The MCE, who charged both pupils and teachers to protect the facility, said the project was in line with the government’s agenda to provide quality education at zero or minimum cost at various stages of the educational level.
The MCE appealed to the school authority to ensure good culture of maintenance for the new classroom block so that it can last longer.
He admonished the students to take advantage of the facility, adding that, it was not just about classroom but how well the students are able to make good use of the classroom.
Dormaa Municipal Deputy Director Of Education Mr Francis Yeboah Brobbey on his part said the facility had come at a good time, and would help address the shortfall in infrastructure in the Municipality which has resulted from increased enrolment in schools in the area within the last three years.
He also indicated that the facility would go a long way to enhance teaching and learning and also provide the children with a conductive teaching and learning atmosphere.
He commended the assembly and appealed for more of such facilities within the municipality.
