OFORIKROM: Work to commence on Bomso- Susankyi road

The Oforikrom Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Mr. Abraham Kwame Antwi together with the Member of Parliament for the area, Mr. Emmanuel Marfo and some officials from the Ministry of Roads and Highway Authority, has cut sod for work to commence on the Bomso- Susankyi road.

In a brief ceremony that took place at Bomso, the consultant of the project officially handed over the necessary document to the contractor for work on the much anticipated project to kick start.

The Consultant also seized the opportunity to assure the MCE, MP and all present that the project would be completed within 90days from its commencement.

On his part, the MP for the area assured the team that all structures that might hinder the construction at the site would be cleared for work to begin immediately.

He gave this assurance following a plea from the contractor about the challenges associated with clearing structures along the river for the commencement of the project.

Attendance was the municipal Director for Urban Roads, assembly members for Bomso and Oforikrom and some opinion leaders.
