Diabaa Community gets new classroom block
The District Chief Executive (DCE) of Dormaa West, Francis Kwadwo Oppong, in collaboration with 'Madamfo Ghana' a non-governmental organization (NGO), has commissioned a new 6-unit classroom block at Diabaa, a community in the Dormaa West district.

The commissioning ceremony was attended by the education director, District Assembly staff, and political party executives, representatives from Madamfo Ghana, community members, Nananom, and students.
The event was filled with excitement and a sense of accomplishment as everyone witnessed the fruition of their collective efforts and dedication towards providing quality education for the children of Diabaa.
The newly constructed 6-unit classroom block boasts of furniture, interactive whiteboards, mechanised borehole, and toilet. The classrooms are spacious and well-ventilated, creating a conducive learning environment for the students. Additionally, the building is designed to accommodate a larger student population, ensuring that more children in the community have access to education.
During the commissioning ceremony, the DCE expressed gratitude to Madamfo Ghana for listening to his cry when he wrote a letter requesting the project.
He also thanked all the stakeholders involved in making the project a reality. He highlighted the importance of education in the development of the district and emphasized the government's commitment to investing in education infrastructure.
Representatives from Madamfo Ghana also expressed their joy and satisfaction in partnering with the district assembly to improve education in the community.
They reiterated their commitment to supporting education-related initiatives and promised to continue working hand in hand with the government and other stakeholders to address educational challenges in the region.
The chief of the community expressed his appreciation for the new classroom block, recognizing the positive impact it will have on their children's education. The commissioning ceremony concluded with a ribbon-cutting ceremony officially inaugurating the new 6-unit classroom block. As the doors of the classrooms opened, the students eagerly stepped inside, ready to embark on their educational journey in a brighter and more conducive learning environment.
