Instill discipline in your children at home – Dormaa West DCE urges parents

The District Chief Executive for Dormaa West District Mr. Francis Kwadwo Oppong has encouraged parents to instill discipline in their children at home while teachers also do their best at the school.

According to him, there must be a collaborative effort of all stakeholders to bring up children uprightly.

Mr. Oppong who was speaking at the Parents-Teachers Association meeting at Nkrankwanta Islamic school said such meetings are important to ensure the future and well-being of the students as well of the school are discussed by stakeholders and the necessary measures taken.

He urged the parents to control their wards while at home and counsel them on the importance of education. He also admonished the teachers to do their best to help the students as far as teaching and learning is concerned.

He assured the school authorities that his outfit will liaise with the Central government, especially, the Zongo Development Authority to equip the school with more Islamic instructors
