Dormaa West DCE visits ongoing projects
The District Chief Executive of Dormaa West District Assembly in the Bono Region Mr. Francis Kwadwo Oppong, has ended a two-day working visit to assess the progress of work on some development projects within districts.

Mr. Oppong speaking with Ghanadistricts .com mentioned some ongoing projects he visited including the construction of an Ultra-Modern emergency unit of the Dormaa West District Hospital, a six-unit classroom block at Nkrankwanta Presbyterian Primary, a three –unit KG block at Yaakrom Presbyterian School and another three-unit classroom block at Asuontam local Primary School
He said, the visit to the eight communities allowed him to interact with the people in the various communities and also identify the pressing needs of the people.
Some communities the MCE visited are Aboaboso, Aprakukrom, Sunkwa, Diabaa, New Chiraa, Nyameama, Brofoyedu and Kwaku Ahenfiekrom he further again had engagements with teachers and health workers in these communities.
Mr. Francis Oppong cautioned some cocoa farmers in the districts who are smuggling their cocoa beans to the neighboring country to desist from it.
He again educates the communities about government policies and initiatives geared towards poverty alleviation, Job creation and economic empowerment.
He encouraged the youth to take advantage of the Government’s social Intervention programs such as the planting for food and Jobs to better their lives.
