Oforikrom MCE presents his vision for the year
Mr. Abraham Antwi, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Oforikrom has called on staff of the Assembly to continue to maintain a good team-play in the management of the Assembly’s affairs and prudent to repudiate all shortcomings of the previous year and focus on the best possible way to ensure an excellent output for the year 2022.

The MCE speaking at the first management meeting to review the Assembly’s performance in the previous year further plan for a productive new year at Banivilla-kentinkrono advised the heads of the various departments and units to live up to the task as duty bearers discharging professionalism at all times.
Mr. Antwi, presenting his vision for the year, noted that he looks forward to having an Assembly that responds quickly to requests, petitions, and complaints to create a flawless image in the eyes of the public.
He predicted a good and improved sanitation in the municipality and noted that all efforts are being put in place to ensure that Oforikrom being the gateway to the greater Kumasi is portrayed as one of the best clean cities in the region.
This, according to him would be made possible through a partnership with the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) and pointed that the Assembly will put in many efforts to ensure that every community in the municipality is well illuminated, by providing an efficient and excellent street lighting system.
Acknowledging the need for a good road in the municipality, Mr. Antwi pointed that attention would be given to the filling of potholes to ensure a leveled road network in the municipality adding that the success of his vision largely depends on the Assembly’s ability to generate funds internally, thus the need to restructure the revenue unit of the Assembly to maximize revenue collection in the municipality.
Mr. Charles Atta-Mensah the Municipal Coordinating Director (MCD) pleaded with the staff to maintain a high-level confidentiality in their day-to-day affairs and further maintain a good working ethics. He also added that it is the responsibility of every staff to ensure that the good name of the Assembly is upheld.
