DCE presents motorbikes to Works Department

The District Chief Executive for Kwahu East District in the Eastern Region, Isaac Agyapong has presented a motorbike to the Works Department in the district.

The bikes, according to DCE, will help the works department of the Kwahu-East District Assembly to facilitate their day-to-day work.

Many Departments in the district are usually constrained in their mobility due to the distances they have to travel when needed for assembly duties.

Presenting the motorbikes, Mr. Agyapong stressed the need for the Departments to prioritize safety whenever using the motorbikes.

Mr. Agyapong also stated that 303 people engaged at the climate change sites under the Ghana Productive Safty Net project payment has also been done.

He continued that “these motorbikes came with helmets. Let us all use it. It may not be comfortable at all times but it’s for our protection. Use them to enhance your work.

The Head of the Works Department who received the motorbike on behalf of the Department assured the DCE of effectively using them for the good of the people they lead in their respective areas
