TAIN: Na Masa D/A Primary gets 6-unit block
The District Chief Executive for Tain in the Bono region, Madam Charity Akua Foriwaa Dwommoh has commissioned a six unit classroom block with ancillary facilities for the Namasa D/A primary school to ensure a serene learning atmosphere for children in the Namasa community and to also help improve the educational standard in the district.

The new u-shape classroom block which was sponsored by the Action Ghana comes ancillary facilities such as Library, Staff common room for teachers, Mechanized bore hole, changing room for girls and toilet and urinal for boys and girls.
In a speech read on behalf of the Chief of Namasa Alhaji Sule Zingo II by Alhassan Issifu thanked the community for their effort towards ensuring the completion of the school through communal labour. He was also grateful to Action Ghana for providing their community with a befitting classroom block to replace the old one. He pledge to ensure proper maintenance of the school when the need arises to keep the building strong forever.
He also appealed for KG block since it’s the foundation block in the education system.
Mr. Abdul Sumaila Rahman, the country director for Action Aid Ghana said the block was constructed due to the relationship and the collaborations they had with the District Chief Executive, Madam Charity Akua Foriwaa Dwommoh.
Mr. Rahman urged parents to take their children’s education seriously, because that was the only way to ensure their future successfully.
The District Chief Executive, Madam Charity Akua Foriwaa Dwommoh, commended Action Aid Ghana for the project.
The DCE noted that the government prioritized education that was why it had started some policies such as the free SHS, school feeding among others aimed at improving and alleviating the plight of Ghanaians.
“We all know that education is very important for every nation and Ghana as a country, through the help of government was doing its best to improve on education to highest standard and to also make it accessible for Ghanaians, she said.”
She appealed to the people to make good use of the building by sending their children to school.
The District Director of Education, Mr. Mark Godfred Domah, thanked Action Aid for the support, adding that it would serves as motivation for both teachers and pupils.
