The donations include exercise books, pens and pencils, sharpeners, liquid soaps, and two sets of jumbo towels.

The donation formed part of activities to mark the 30th birthday celebration of the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of the Emel Foundation's C.E.O, Emelia Hagar Essel. It was part of her social responsibility and to express her commitment to the education and welfare of her younger sisters and brothers in the school.

She encouraged the pupils not to be distracted by the challenges that might come their way but to be serious with their studies for a successful future.

Mrs. Hagar again charged the teaching body to discharge their duties with diligence as professionals and maintain a high level of self-discipline and among the Pupils. “Teachers have become somewhat surrogate parents since they supervise students under their care, it is your responsibility to ensure a safe environment for the pupils at all times".

Mrs. Emilia Hagar Essel who is a nurse at the Wenchi Methodist Hospital and being mindful of the health and legal ramifications of obeying the COVID-19 safety measures advised both the school to comply with all safety protocols including personal hygiene, nose-mask wearing, and social distancing measures to prevent further spread of the virus, particularly in the school, she also advocated that every Ghanaian take part in the coronavirus vaccination when the time reaches.

Mrs. Emilia in an interview with Ghanadistricts.com, Mrs. Emel disclosed that the donation is to enhance teaching and learning to help produce responsible leaders in the near future.

She, however, appealed to benevolent organizations and individuals to come to the aid of the foundation as their main objective is to render support to the vulnerable persons in the rural area of the country in the area of health and education.

Mr. Hanku, the Assistance headteacher of the School on behalf of the school expressed their profound gratitude to the foundation for the kind gesture and assured him that they will use the items prudently.

According to him "ninety percent of our pupils don't have desks to write on, hence they lie on the floor to write. On behalf of the school, we will plead to you and other benevolent organizations including the government to come to our help with some desks for our children".
