The school currently has a population of 2,300 students with limited accommodation for students, teachers and non-teaching staff.
Mr Sampson Mensah said that the school spends a huge amount of Ghana cedis annually to put its rickety 30-seater bus on the road out of necessity.
According to him, the school is finding it increasingly difficult to cope without reliable means of transport for smooth administration, teaching and learning as well as out of campus academic programmes.
Mr Akrosumah further explained that due to the rural setting of the school, the deplorable nature of the road makes a reliable means of transport a major challenge. He therefore, appealed to individuals and philanthropists especially past students home and abroad to come to their aid.
Nkoranman Senior High was founded by Mr Asiedu Nketiah on November 4, 1989, in fulfilment of a promise he made when he ran as the first assembly member of the Abourso Adantase Electoral Area of Seikwa with a student population of 85, made up of71 boys and 14 girls.
