Brodi R/C Primary gets 3-unit classroom block

A 3unit classrooms block with store and office has been commissioned for Brodi Roman Catholic Upper Primary in the Tain District of the Bono Region.

The project which was sponsored by Madamfo Ghana Foundation aims at providing a better learning environment for the children in the Brodi community.

In a short ceremony to commission and handover the school to the community, Mr. Enoch Sunday, Deputy Country Director of Madamfo Ghana Foundation said the organization seeks to address developmental challenges in various rural communities in the Country through their cherished and noble sponsors.

As a result, the Foundation has embarked on numerous projects in the country to help better the living conditions of the people.

He encourages all parents to send their children to school irrespective of the child’s physical challenge since education plays a fundamental role in child development.

He, therefore, appealed to all stakeholders of the school to ensure the building undergo periodic maintenance to continue to serve its purpose.

In a speech read on behalf of the District Chief Executive, Madam Charity Akua Foriwaa Dwommoh by the District Information Officer, Mr. Isaac Yeboah, the DCE said the Assembly is ready to partner any donor agency to help facilitate the development of the District.

She also expressed gratitude to the Madamfo Ghana Foundation for their numerous projects in the District and appealed to them to do more to help develop the District.

She urged parents to advantage of the government educational policies to give their wards the best of education.

She, therefore, urged the community to take care of the facility to prong its lifespan.
