The rainfall which started around 7:30pm with heavy down pour ripped of the roof of about nine classroom blocks of  St Francis Catholic Basic school at Tuobodom, both primary and Junior High, Dining hall of Tuobodom senior High, kitchen, stores as well as some classroom blocks and several households were also affected.

The heavy downpour disconnected some household wiring systems and cut off electricity supply to a number of households in the town.

As at the time of the visit to the affected areas, some of the victims were busy loading their personal belongings and household items like television sets, sets of furniture, clothes and cooking utensils to be taken to the homes if their relatives and nearby friends for safe keeping whilst others too were busy re- roofing their houses.

No casualties were however recorded.
