President Akuffo Addo visits the Adansi North District
The President of the Republic of Ghana, His Excellency Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo Addo has paid a courtesy call on the chiefs and residents of the Adansi North District.

He also used the time and commission some significant projects in the District
The President commissioned a 450-bed capacity Boys Dormitory both at the Fomena T.I Ahmadiyya and Asare Bediako Senior High Schools, the Akrokerri Police Station and inspected the Fomena Hospital Project.
His Excellency Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo-Addo, speaking at a durbar at Fomena said he is taking serious steps in completing uncompleted buildings and other impending projects at the Fomena Nursing and Midwifery School.
He also promised to provide vehicles to the Districts’ Police Command to help them become efficient and effective in the execution of their duties.
Nana Addo enumerated some developmental projects his government has undertaken in the District and assured the people of the District, his preparedness to do more for them when he is re-elected as President.
The Health Minister Kwaku Agyemang Manu promised Nananom that, the Fomena Hospital project would be completed within 3 months when the New Patriotic Party is voted into power again and announced his readiness to collaborate with the Member of Parliament for the area to speed up the developmental project.
The Minister for Roads and Transport, Hon. Amoako Atta said, the Ministry is working tirelessly to construct roads in the Adansi North District.
He mentioned that works on the Fomena to Kusa road, Kyeaboso to Akrokerri road, Sodua to Bena road would commence soon.
The Adansi Hene, Nana Bonsra Afriyie II requested more developmental projects in the District and asked that compensation issues be looked at with regards to people losing their farms as a result of community mining projects.
