Ashaiman Assembly honours schools at independence parade

The Ashaiman Municipal Assembly has honoured eight private and public schools for their excellent performance and smartness at the 60th Independence Day parade.

The schools are Don Bosco Senior High, Ashaiman Senior High, Eagle Foundation Junior High, Nuru Mustapha Junior High, Ashaiman ‘No2’ Junior High, Peace Paradise Primary, St Augustine Primary and Leading Light Primary Schools.

They received plaques and 500 exercise books each as their awards.

Mr Joshua Adams Asihene, the Municipal Coordinating Director congratulated the schools for their high level of performance at the parade and urged them to keep it up.

The dignitaries at the parade were Mr Ernest Norgbe, Member of Parliament for Ashaiman, Nii Adzor, Regent of Ashaiman, Mrs Fati Assan, Ashaiman District Director of the Ghana Education Service, among others.
