MCE presents items to Achimota Palace

The Okaikwei North Municipal Chief Executive Mr. Boye Laryea on behalf of the First Lady presented a double-deck fridge, air condition, sixteen chairs, and one digital flat screen television to the Chief of Achimota, Nii Ayibonte Adams II.

The MCE during the presentation indicated that the donation of the items is in fulfillment of a request made by the chiefs when the first lady Mrs. Rebecca Akuffo Addo paid a working visit to the chief of Achimota last year where a request was made to assist them with some items.

Mr. Laryea assured the people of the government’s determination to intensify the implementation of its initiatives in all parts of the country to complement the government efforts in enhancing the lives of the citizens

Nii Ayibonte Adams II, receiving the items thanked the first lady and the Assembly, saying “From the entire Palace we thank the first lady, the president, and our brother Hon. Boye Laryea. For forty-two years now no government has done this for the Achimota Palace, God bless them”, he added.
