You’re Part of Assembly’s Success Story-MCE tells Staff

The Chief Executive of Okaikwei North Municipal Assembly has praised staff of the Assembly for their dedicated service towards the growth and development of the Assembly.

Mr. Boye Laryea stated that the Assembly since its inception in 2018 has seen a study growth and development partly attributable to the meritorious service of the staff.

“You are part of the success we have chalked; all of you are part and I commend you for that…” he said.

The Okaikwei North MCE indicated “This is how far we have come and the Assembly is gradually growing. Between 2018 and 2020 all the projects you see around were started around that time before COVID struck.”

Mr Laryea was however optimistic that the slowness in the progress of the projects due to COVID “will change”.

He reiterated his plea to the staff to report to work on time and avoid lateness.

According to him staff lateness is hampering the progress of work and urged the new Municipal Coordinating Director (MCD), Mr. Francis Mensah to reverse the trend by taking necessary actions.

Mr. Mensah who described the occasion as rare said the event serves as an opportunity for the staff to meet management and share their challenges for redress.
