UG medical students visit Asuogyaman district

The District Chief Executive (DCE) of Asuogyaman, Samuel Kwame Agyekum on Thursday 13th September 2018 received a team of medical students from the University of Ghana in the district.

The visit to the District was part of the annual week celebration of Medical students.

The three day visit in the district was to create awareness and sensitize the populace on hypertension.

The team also visited the two Senior High Schools (SHSs) in the district namely Akwamuman Senior high school and Apeguso Senior High school.

The Medical students here advised the students to stay from all social vice stressing on the effect of the use of illicit drugs.They encouraged the students to aim high and work towards achieving those aims by the avoidance of bad peer groups.
