MAMPONG: PM calls for support for development

The Presiding Member (PM) of the Mampong Municipal Assembly, Godwin Anto has praised members for their comportment and decent dressing and nationalistic discussions at all times.

Speaking at the First Ordinary meeting of the First Section of the Fifth Assembly, he urged his colleagues to continue in their high spirit of unity of purpose to ensure continues and accelerated development of the municipality.

Mr. Anto also advised the youthful members of the Assembly to continue to advance their academic qualifications especially as there is currently a scholarship scheme they can enjoy to support them in that direction.

He further entreated the Assembly members to urge their community members to continue to observe the Covid-19 protocols and preventive measures since the virus is still lurking around and has not gone completely.

The PM said there is a government initiative loan for people especially, those in the SMEs to access, and implored members to relay the news to people in their various electoral areas to take advantage and expand their business and improve their lots.
