Prez commended for appointing 'competent' Ofori Safo as MCE

The Akyem Abuakwa South constituency executives of the governing New Patriotic Party have expressed appreciation to President Akufo Addo for appointing a competent and qualified person as Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of the area.

Constituency youth organizer of the party, Mr Kofi Asare Boutu in a statement said that the Mr Kwadwo Ofori Safo’s appointment as MCE of Kyebi demonstrates the President regard for the people of Kyebi, his hometown.

"Not only has the president demonstrated his veneration for the party executives, but he has also shown in his nomination, a deep concern for competence and integrity.

According to Mr Kofi Asare Boutu the NPP executives and the people of kyebi are delighted and want to register their profound appreciation to the president for his careful selection of the man to represent him in the municipality.

He noted that all the constituency executives have faith in the president nominee and believed that, if confirmed by the Assembly members he will give Kyebi and its surrounding environs a major facelift.

" we have every faith in Hon Kwadwo Ofori Safo and we believed that if confirmed by the assembly, he will work to the utmost of his abilities with the full complement of Kyebi alongside the president and his administration and the entire people of Kyebi to improve upon the growth and prosperity of Kyebi.

The executives want to cease the opportunity to appeal to the Honourable Assembly Members to overwhelmingly endorse, confirmed and support the nominee without any hesitation to deliver on the towering mandate of managing the affairs of the municipality

He concluded by calling on all Assembly members to massively endorse the President nominee as MCE.
