Sekyere Central Assembly holds PHEC Meeting

The Public Health Emergency Committee in Sekyere Central District has met with the Educational Directorate and heads of Senior high Schools in the district to elaborate on the measures put in place by the Ministry of Health, Ministry of Education and the Ghana Education service for the safe reopening of schools across the country.

The district health directorate explained the needed health practices that would be required including mass testing of both teachers and students for the Covid-19.

The heads of the SHS also informed the meeting on the safety measures they have adopted and the purchase of infrared thermometer guns, Veronica buckets, hand Sanitizers, soap, water among others in order to contain the spread of the virus in their respective schools.
