Ashanti development donates incubator to boost health system

Ashanti Development organization, a nongovernmental organization has donated incubator and other medical items to the Sekyere central District Health Directorate.

The donation, according to the country director of the NGO, is to further help improve upon the health care delivery services in the District and to reduce the number of referral cases from the District to other adjoining Districts as a result of the lack of medical equipment in health facilities in the District.

The District Chief Executive (DCE) Mr. Benjamin Kingsley Koduah receiving the items expressed profound gratitude to the NGO and its international partners for their continuous support to the District in various ways.

He thanked them for their kind gesture and expressed hope that the donation would go a long way to fulfill the purpose for which it was intended.

Madam Susanna Nkrumah, the District Director for health services, thanked the NGO for the donation.

She also appealed to the DCE and the Assembly to assist with the procurement of a universal power supply (U.P.S) system and air conditions to enable effective and lasting usage of the equipment.
