He therefore welcomed the establishment of a new radio station, “Today’s Fm – 101.7” into the municipality.

The MCD in the company of some heads of departments of the Assembly visited the station to familiarize with them and official welcome them to the municipality.

According to him, not only will the station help disseminate information to the people in the municipality but also help sell out the good works and good things about the municipality.

He urged the station to be good partners of development as the Assembly continue to work hard to meet the development needs of the people.

As a show of the good relationship that will be developed between the fm station and the assembly, the station offered the assembly one month free air time to engage the citizens on issues they deem important.
