In a short meeting between the Municipal Chief Executives of Offinso and some regional and local executives of the G.P.R.T.U, the board extended their heartfelt gratitude to Offinsomanhene for this initiative.

Nana was also commended for giving a fully furnished apartment to see to the operationalization of DVLA in Offinso.

The DVLA is the key institution mandated to promote good driving standards in the country and ensure the use of roadworthy vehicles on the roads and other public places.

When operational, it will ensure easy renewal of roadworthy and drivers’ licences, and perform other essential roles as mandated by the law.

After the meeting, the MCE, together with some elders and chiefs inspected the center which is about 90% completed.
