Binduri District harvests a number of projects

Mr Daniel Adobila Akologo, Binduri District Chief Executive says the area could boast of a number of development activities since 2013, listing projects cutting across all sectors of the economy.

He told the Ghana News Agency that through the Ghana Education Trust Fund, the district has netted nine educational projects, including a six-unit classroom block with ancillary facilities at Agumsi, costing GHs 200,000.00 and a similar facility at Goori valued at GHs 304,140.50.

A document titled: “Binduri District Assembly List of Development Projects From 2013-To Date,” which highlighted 63 projects, captured Binguri, Yaligu, Bawju-Sapeliga, Sakpanatenga, Atuba-Mognori, Zaago No 1 and Narang- Saago for benefiting from the educational projects.

Mr Akologo said under the District Assemblies Common Fund (DACF) 10 educational projects have been sited at Tempelin, Vako, Sarabogo, Ziako, Poayamire, Kuolimavae, Bansi, Bakan, and Binguri.

Basua and neighbouring localities have also been connected to the national grid under the DACF Energy project.

Other projects on the ground cover Health, Economy, Water, Good Governance, Feeder Roads Maintenance and Security.

A 20-unit ground floor lockable market stores is being constructed under the economic projects.

Mr Adongo said 10 boreholes are also being constructed at the cost of GH¢169,600.00 and additional 12, valued at GH¢201,549.60 under a District wide Construction project.
